My name is Stefan, founder of WaterHawk Cyprus.

Before moving to Cyprus around two years ago, I gained many years of practical experience in Germany in the field of moisture damage, mold issues, water damage assessment, technical drying and damage documentation. Over time, I worked on many different types of property damage cases — from small residential moisture problems to more complex water damage and building-related issues.

When I arrived in Cyprus, I quickly noticed that moisture, mold and hidden water damage are common problems here. The climate, construction methods, flat roofs, terraces, balconies, bathrooms and poorly ventilated areas can all create serious issues if moisture is not detected, documented and dried properly.

At the same time, many property owners, tenants, property managers and developers are often left without a clear technical explanation or a structured solution. They receive opinions, assumptions or temporary repairs — but no proper diagnosis, no clear documentation and often no professional drying concept.

WaterHawk was created to change that.

We support people in Cyprus with professional moisture diagnostics, clear reporting and technical drying services. Our work starts with identifying and documenting the affected areas using thermal imaging, moisture measurement, visual building assessment and, where required, laboratory-supported mold sampling. If drying is required, we can then provide a suitable technical drying setup to help reduce moisture safely and prevent further damage.

Our aim is to help property owners, landlords, tenants, property managers and developers understand what is happening inside the building, where the affected areas are, what the likely cause may be and what needs to happen next.
